Since 23 February 2022, an ambient air quality measurement station has been installed in the municipality of Rixensart, more exactly in the Rue des Volontaires, very close to the Genval municipal school.
This report covers the results of pollutants measured in 2022 and 2023 as part of the Walloon real-time continuous ambient air monitoring network. The pollutants measured are nitrogen oxides (NO/NO₂/NO_x), the PM₁₀ and PM_2.5 fractions of airborne particles, ozone (O₃), carbon monoxide (CO), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and heavy metals.
